Between a Rock and a Hard Face: Reneé Zellweger Is Unrecognizable

Yup, that is her. I’m not kidding. No, it’s not a prank. Yeah, really. THAT is Reneé Zellweger at the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards. The typically reclusive Reneé left a life of living under the radar for apparently a really long time, and was spotted looking fit and sexy in a beautiful and elegant black gown. Also donning an entirely new face.

Yes! I swear that is her, stop it. Leo Tolstoy once said “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” Well that is so not the case, Leo. Look at Reneé, she apparently listened to Tolstoy and totally changed herself. Well, except the hair. I think the hair is sort of the same. At least that’s what the people are speculating. Reneé remained quiet until recently when she told everyone that “of course she looks different, she’s older“. But, I mean, come on, there’s a difference between being older and looking like a completely different human being.

Reneé is known for gaining weight, losing it and gaining again for different movie roles. That’s fine. But if she did go under the knife for a movie role, is she planning on playing the role of the late Joan Rivers?

I mean, change is good. It’s awesome! We put on weight, lose it, get married, divorced; dye our hair blonde, ginger, date a younger guy, (what?). But when we start touching up the facial features that make us…hum…recognizable, that’s when I guarantee you’re going have a change of heart, ( pun intended) and people will be squinting really hard trying to figure out who you were.

Reneé’s new look has been reported over thousands of times by virtually every site on the Internet. One thing is for sure: Reneé must definitely be shocked. Well, of course we won’t notice if she’s shocked or happy, since there is no way she’s going to be able to express much with that flat-ironed forehead she is sporting right now.

That being said, don’t get me wrong, she looks beautiful. She just doesn’t look like Reneé Zellweger anymore.
